Tara's witchcraft has failed to save her naga-bitten nephew: the only cure is a rare Faery herb, impossible for a human to obtain.Tara was trying everything to get crith-siol to save her nephew who was bitten by a half man half snake. Crith-siol was the only cure for the naga poison and it was only available to the Fae. She had a strong connection to her family, which I liked.
Kane, a warrior of the Morrigan tribe, is bound to a baigh-duil. He needs a witch to help him send the soul-devouring monster back to its own realm, and he's willing to bargain.
It seems like a fair trade--the herb for help with a single spell. But what will Tara do when she realizes Kane can only perform sex magic and death magic?
Kane needed Tara's help to get rid of a soul-devouring monster, baigh-duil. Kane is willing to make a trade with Tara, the crith-siol for her help getting rid of the baigh-duil, which seems like a fair trade. What neither of them expected was to fall in love.
Tara always believe what her Grandmother told her about the Fae and she learned to hate them. She wanted to hate Kane when he walked into her shop but her desire outweighed her fear of him. I loved the instant attraction between Kane and Tara. My favorite part was that Tara thought Kane put her under a lust spell so she would help him.
Faery's Bargain was a great novella that had the right amount of action, and sizzling bedroom romance. I especially loved the twist that Tara is part Fae. Faery's Bargain shows you that sometimes you find love in the least expected people. It's a great romance that will remind you to keep your eyes open for love that might be right in front of you.
