Sacrifice by Luxie Ryder

Sacrifice is a spicy vampire novella, and I found myself pleasantly surprised. Sacrifice is spicy and rolls quite a bit into this novella. The story develops quickly and will keep the reader interested until the end.

All Hallie Matheson wants is someone to rent her apartment. What she gets is the handsome and wealthy, Ethan Butler. They hit it off instantly and Hallie thinks she has found a lifelong friend, until she tries to explore the sexual tension between them. Ethan rejects her and then avoids her for months, leaving Hallie confused and hurt.
Until one fateful night she finds Ethan collapsed and near death on her door-step.
Ethan has spent the last few years investigating vampires, until a sudden attack ends his mortal life. Now, he has even more reason to avoid Hallie, despite his desire to have her. Both of the main characters Hallie and Ethan are well rounded and full of life. Hallie is a sweet girl who didn't want to live alone once her Grandmother passed, so she sought out a roommate. Ethan comes to town to rent Hallie's apartment when he thinks his cover is blown and he is turned into a vampire. Little did Ethan know he would find love. Ethan was sweet and sensitive. I enjoyed the sweet relationship between Ethan and Hallie and watching it grow to a loving romance.

I loved the story line and how Ethan got into trying to prove vampires were real. The fact both of his parents were killed by vampires which lead him was something interesting and different then a lot of what is on the market currently.

Sacrifice has a cast of amazing characters, and a story like that will please both erotica and paranormal readers. Sacrifice has just enough action and romance to please any reader. If you are looking for a quick erotica or paranormal read pick up Sacrifice, it won't disappoint.
