Officer Daddy by Jacqueline Diamond

Officer Daddy is the fourth book in the Safe Harbor Medical series and brings us all the excitement that we are used to.
Safe Harbor obstetrician Nora Kendall had always planned to have kids. But a recent divorce, and a recent birthday, point to Nora's window of opportunity getting smaller and smaller. She's looking for a man who will give her a baby—not a tall, dark and handsome younger man who isn't interested in the long term.
Leo Franco is bowled over when Nora informs him their one night of passion has resulted in a pregnancy. She's not trying to rope him in, that's for sure. It seems like she's actually pushing him away…because of his age?
Now Leo's out to show Nora he's the man she needs. He's a responsible cop, and he would be a great father. But how can Leo convince the good doctor that he's ready to give up his bachelor status for diaper detail?
Nora Kendall, is recently divorced but wants to move on. At thirty five she wants to have a child, and would like to have a man committed to her. I enjoyed Nora's character. I have to say the other women in the Safe Harbor series have stood out a little more then Nora did.

Now with Leo, I was excited to read about him. After reading about him in the other books I was excited for him to have his own story in Officer Daddy. Plus who can resist a man in uniform. Leo was young, and wasn't ready to settle down. In Officer Daddy there was a lot of growth with Leo. He started out as a young police officer, who didn't want to settle down or have a committed relationship and by the end of Officer Daddy he was committed, a soon to be father, and more.

Overall I enjoyed Officer Daddy. Jacqueline creates a strong story with two main characters, but has the ability to tie in smaller stories, and many characters. She draws the reader in with her characters and story. Anyone that is looking for a solid romance novel will enjoy Officer Daddy. Especially readers who enjoy a good medical romance, or a man in uniform read.
