Alice in Dungeonland by Alex Jordaine

Alice in Dungeonland is a BDSM novella that has F/F as well as F/M action. After reading Alice in Dungeonland I have to begin by saying it has to be one of the best BDSM novellas, I have read so far this year.

Stunning dominatrix Mistress Gale keeps her sex-slaves under control by constantly subjecting them to various outlandish forms of erotic domination. A particular favorite of hers is to impose regular bouts of orgasm denial on them. She likes nothing better than to push their limits to the maximum through this means. Gale already has two slaves living in her dungeon domain, the dishy duo of James and Alex. Now she wants a female slave as well. The one she wants is beautiful but naïve submissive Alice. And what Mistress Gale wants Mistress Gale always gets. The dominatrix certainly doesn’t let get in her way the fact that Alice already has a lover, alluring ‘switch’ Sarah. The wily Gale manages to spirit Sarah away with great efficiency. It is then that Alice’s Adventures in Dungeonland really get underway. At first all goes exceptionally well for Alice who is indulged by her new Mistress. But this leads to Alice seriously underestimating the depths of Gale’s cruelty and the young slave ends up having to pay a heavy price indeed for her foolish error of judgement.

The main character is of course Alice. According to the author, Alice is beautiful and as honest as the day is long. Alice begins having an affair with another young lady, Sarah who she meets at a party. As their relationship continues, Sarah is sure that her Mistress Gale would love to meet/have Alice as her own slave. Mistress Gale is excited about having Alice as her own and sends Sarah off to be trained as a mistress. This leaves Alice as her own to train her as she wants. Also in Mistress Gale's control are two male slaves: James and Alex.

I wished in reading Alice in Dungeonland that there was more background about Alice. I wondered, if she had ever been in a BDSM romance, or what she knew/didn't know about this? I also wished that Alice in Dungeonland was a little longer. This would allow the author to maybe explain what becomes of Sarah and how the relationship between Alice and the Mistress expands.

Overall, I would give Alice in Dungeonland five hearts. I thought that it was an excellent book and the sex scenes both F/F and the ménage à trois with two men was greatly written. I didn't want to put this book down until I finished it, due to the great writing and the between the sheets action.
