Resort City: the poor man’s version of Miami, FL. But their marketing must be doing something right because lots of Australian woman on vacation keep ending up here. And is there something in the water or just being away from home that lets the wild side out? Maybe it’s just girls like Victoria in Eat Me Up
have a hidden wildcat all along
Shane Palmer and his business partner, Lucas Taft, program interactive games. They (or at least Shane) also own several businesses in Resort City, which is how Shane meets Victoria, while he is checking on the bus Victoria is riding. The guys had seen the video of Victoria and were ‘hooked.’ They are working on an adults-only game where they have created a character, “Betty Bombshell,” who has various and all types of sex under the guidance of the audience/game player(s). But they are in need of a “model” to help them correctly design the graphic interface for “Betty” and think Victoria would be perfect. They both are attracted to her and feel that will work out perfectly for the game design as well since they happen to like “taking” a woman together.
Victoria is surprised but intrigued by Shane and Lucas’ offer. Several thousand dollars to film having sex with them?!? But it is for business, nothing else, right? She does need the money, and they even offer a contract to keep her ‘safe.’ What could go wrong here?
Eat Me Up
is part of the “Sex Odyssey Series;” the fast, (explicit) sexy reads from Evernight Publishing. I have reviewed a couple others in this group by Amarinda Jones already, like Hush
, and Strip For Me
. I’m not sure about others in this series, but Jones’ stories happen around Resort City, FL and have lots of graphic, often kinky, sex. But that is the idea around the “Sex Odyssey Series,” so be prepared when choosing to read them. And if that is what you are in the mood for, these deliver with imagination and unexpected wildness.
Eat Me Up
has very graphic sex scenes in it, as the warning tells us. Nothing harsh or outrageous, but the food scene was a bit odd for me (and the character as well, so that was funny). Just make sure this is what you want when choosing this book and you will be wholly entertained.
Eat Me Up
is the first one of Amarinda’s stories that feels a little short to me. This one could have been a little longer and the guys cold have been a little more developed for me. However, this was still a fun little read! Yes, Eat Me Up
is sex hidden as a story, but it is done so well here. Victoria is sassy, though she needs to quit calling herself a slut and just embrace life as it is. I love that she doesn’t let the guys overwhelm her anywhere along the way (she is outnumbered after all). And the guys never hide that they are hot for her. It is nice to see them up front about wanting her and not playing any games, even if they are ‘making’ games. The interaction between all three feels real and tangible. They blend well together and one could really see them making things work out ling-term if given the chance. So while falling for someone fast is hard to for some of us to believe, it just feels real in Eat Me Up
(oh, I sound so cliché here).
Eat Me Up
starts with a warning to all us girls not to be too trusting of guys but goes on to show not all men are bad (even if influenced by lust). Victoria manages to get herself into trouble but finds help in an unexpected place and the people there. Eat Me Up
is not as wild as the other Odyssey books, but we get more of the relationship between Victoria and the guys this time. And somehow, this is a sex story that leaves you with that happy smile some romances give you.
When Victoria O’Connell travels to meet her long time pen pal, the last thing she expects is to find herself as the star of a porn movie. Yes, the sex was amazing but a girl likes to know when she’s being filmed.Victoria O’Connell came to the US to visit her pen pal she’s had since she was a teenager. She never expected him to get her drunk and seduce her, especially not right off. And she really never expected him to film it and post it on the internet! If being honest, she admits she likes sex and all, but he didn’t even ask to film her and there are some things that are too much. Now she is in this “want-to-be” city for her vacation with little money until her plane ticket becomes good for her return home to Australia. That is when she comes across Shane and his offer…
Shane and Lucas need Victoria for their own movie. She’s appalled yet intrigued at their proposition. Good girls don’t screw strangers. But then Victoria never said she was good.
Be Warned: ménage sex, mild bdsm, brief f/f interaction, anal sex, sex toys (including food).
