Alexa was/is living a quiet life after the death of her husband. She was attracted to her yardman, but didn’t have the nerve to do anything about it. Luckily for her, he had no such problems. Caleb is a Dom and brings out the submissive in her. They have established a strong BDSM relationship. But she feels that their ten year age difference, her being older, will eventually lead him to get bored with her and leave.

Caleb, however, has different plans altogether. He is very happy with his “little slave” and wants even more. He has bought her a birthday present surprise. The Gardener has a very sexy Dom. Caleb is looking for more from his sub. And he gives so much to her. This is such a giving Dom, seeing to her needs/pleasure more than his own, even getting enjoyment from her pleasure. And he is creative while at it. Another yummy man for us to read about.

The Gardener is a really short read at only 12 actual pages. This is not the whole story, but just a quick glimpse into a pivotal moment of Alexa and Caleb’s relationship. I have read a couple of reviews complaining about this not being much of a story or being cut off at the end (I sometimes look before reading too, to see if I want to read an author or book). I am glad I took a chance on this on. The Gardener is short, but the relationship is firmly established in the set-up, the sex is hot (and kinky), and the ending may look to the future but wraps things up. As long as you are not expecting a longer story, and the size/ word count tells you that, this is one sexy quickie that delivers.
