Catherine is searching for the perfect birthday cards for her sister's birthday. She finds the perfect one, one a sweet one that will tell her sister how she feels about her, and another funny one. As she is walking away another one catches her eye, and when she opens it she finds her fantasy man.
Catherine Ryan has to find the perfect birthday card for her sister. Instead, she finds a card with the exact image of her fantasy man. She never expected to find a picture of the man of her daydreams—and the man of her erotic nighttime dreams. And she especially never expected that man to come to life!
Later that evening Catherine is looking over the card again before bed and wishes he was real. That evening while she is sleeping Kane comes out of the card.

I loved the twist in It's In the Cards. I don't want to give anything away but I will say it is worth the read. I figured things would work out in It's In the Cards but never the way it did. I also love the relationship that Catherine had with her sister. It's In the Cards is a wonderful read.
