Last Temptation by Wylie Kinson

The idea behind Last Temptation was something I have never read before, and something I was willing to give a try. I figured something like Last Temptation would be great to spice up my reading list.
War vet Cameron McKay can’t feel happiness, joy, sorrow…anything. He might as well end it all…
It’s just another day in the afterlife, both sides trying to increase their numbers. When an angel and a demon—always game for a good wager—decide to vie for the unclaimed soul of an attempted suicide, pleasure and pain abound.
Cam doesn’t know if he’s landed in Heaven or Hell. Literally.
Reader Advisory: Cam is tempted—hard—by a hot and heavy performance of F/F sex involving a couple of devilishly sexy creatures.
I liked Cameron. He was a war vet that went through hell and lived to tell the tale. On top of war and death, his wife sent him a letter saying she was messing around with his best friend and was leaving him. What man wouldn't be upset about that. He was trying to fight a war and gets a letter like that, his head wasn't in the fighting, and he lost eleven of his men in one day.

Coming home from Afghanistan he was messed up. He couldn't feel anything, not love, or pain or anything else. He was empty. Therefore he didn't want to live. We wanted to jump off a bridge so no one would have to clean up a big mess.

Heaven and Hell were fighting over his soul. Whoever could make him feel something would be who got his soul. They tried to make him feel something with many different things, a deed for Manhattan, a treasure, women, and more. Would Serefina or Max win? Would Cameron end up in Heaven or Hell?

Overall I found Last Temptation to be different. I loved the twist at the end of Last TemptationLast Temptation was a quick read and if you are looking for something different it might be something you want to check out.
