Red Ribbon by Lila Dubois

Have you ever kept a secret from your friends, that you consider dirty, or might die if they find out? If you have, Red Ribbon by Lila Dubois is the book for you.
Running into an old friend isn’t a big deal, unless you’re attending a BDSM mixer. When Liz, a woman who has it all—except a sex life—sees college pal Mark in the parking lot, she brushes off her embarrassment and agrees to go out for coffee to catch up.
Mark assumes Liz is a Domme, but when she reveals her red ribbon—a ribbon identifying her as a sub—he has to have her. He makes her complete a sex checklist that lists every toy, kink, position and taboo he might do to her, on her or with her.
Though desperate for this relationship to work, Liz cannot fully accept her desires or bring herself to submit passively. She wants Mark to master her, to dominate her. Mark is delighted by the way she challenges him, and with one touch, he knows she’s his perfect sexual match.
Now they face their greatest challenge yet, that forbidden territory that lies outside the bedroom… Dating.

Liz has always been interested in the BDSM scene, but she is worried about being considered a freak by those that know her. After taking a basic course on BDSM, she gets invited to a gathering hoping to find someone that will fulfill her fantasies. Unforntunantly, she has no luck, she considers all the men beneath her.

Mark is her college friend who is a former all American football player who just finished playing in the NFL. Mark and Liz meet as she is leaving the gathering and begin an unlikely friendship based on each others likes and dislikes.

Overall, Red Ribbon is an excellent read. In Red Ribbon no two scenes are a like, Lila spices things up when it comes to the bedroom scenes. With every sex scene they try a different desire which keeps the reader interested. I would recommend Red Ribbon to anyone interested in exploring the BDSM world, and who loves different action on each night.
