Dare me by Lexxie Couper

Wow, Dare Me is definitely a red hot story. Grab something cold to drink before picking up Dare Me and be careful your don’t singe your fingers as you turn the pages.
Defying death is the ultimate dare. Defying love? Well, that’s just stupid.
A Red Hot Weekend story.
Back-to-back medical degrees took Emily Knox right where she planned to be: treating patients in an alternative cancer clinic. But nothing prepared her for a cocky, cheeky Aussie who strode into her life and dared her to cure him. She told herself it was his challenge she couldn’t resist—not his daredevil charm.
Eight months later, Rob’s out of danger…and Emily’s in trouble. She’s in deep, too deep. Worse, Rob has left the clinic against doctor’s orders. There’s nothing for it but to follow him across eleven thousand miles of land and sea to give him what for—as his doctor, of course.
Rob never expected to survive the brain tumor. Nor did he expect to fall head over heels for his very proper, very English oncologist. The problem? Her Hippocratic Oath hangs between them, keeping her just out of reach. Now, with “cured” on his medical chart and his duty as best man for his best mate calling, he takes off for home to start getting his old life back.
Trouble is, while the good doctor cured his cancer, she seems to have inflicted him with something else—desire he just can’t shake.
Product Warnings: Rob Thorton is addictive. Also, there’s scorching passion, undeniable lust, soul-shattering desire, heartbreaking angst, explosive sex and of course, Australian sarcasm. Did you really expect anything else?
Emily has released Rob from her care, but as his doctor she advises him against flying half way around the world for his best friend’s wedding. And this advice is from more than just his doctor. Emily has to face an ethical dilemma as she falls for a patient. Emily is a fantastic character. It’s interesting how she struggles to put being a woman in love before being a doctor when it comes to dealing with Rob.

Rob doesn’t really listen to anyone, least of all the doctor who has declared him healthy. So, when he leaves her and the medical clinic behind, why can’t he stop thinking about her? Rob is determined to ignore the fact that he survived cancer and go back to life as he knows. The problem is, when he sees Emily again, he can’t forget. Rob is so typically male and an adrenaline junkie. He made me laugh and want to hit him for being such a ‘wanker’.

Dare Me is funny and smokin’ hot. Dare Me is a quick story that will leave you with a smile on your face and a warm tingly feeling for sure. Join Rob and Emily as they explore their passion and major changes in how they live their life. After putting Dare Me down, I was already missing being a part of their adventure.
