Good at Being Bad by Cathryn Fox

If you are looking for a steamy, second chance at love, contemporary romance for a summer read, look no further than Good at Being Bad. This super hot story will leave your heart pounding as Ally and Carter reunite and find out things are worse apart then they were when they were together.
Sometimes a good girl just needs a little naughty.
Boys of Beachville, Book 1
Public relations specialist Allison Cooper is more than ready to handle a career make-or-break assignment: to develop and market a charity calendar featuring hot men. Her only problem is Mr. July, a sexy cop who happens to be her ex-lover.
Trying to keep his image squeaky clean—a must for her promotion—raises all sorts of challenges, especially when this bad boy is throwing a little kink into her plan.
Image is the last thing on Carter James’s mind. He agreed to be Mr. July on one condition—that during his promo month, Allison never leaves his side. He wants her back, and to make that happen he needs her undivided attention to teach him good from bad. Unless bad is what the lady wants…
Warning: Contains frank language, hot sex on the beach, and illegal but sexy use of handcuffs. Author cannot be held accountable for aroused state of mind or ruined manicures upon completion of this steamy book.
Allison, Ally, recently got promoted and is in charge of marketing a new calendar for charity. The problem is her gorgeous ex is one of the men being featured as Mr. July. Ally is a by the book type of person. I really enjoyed her character since I can understand where she is coming from. Can she go through the fights again though to be with Carter?

Carter is a bad boy cop that tends to not follow procedures but he gets the job done. When he realizes why Ally broke up with him, he is determined to show her he’s changed and that they can work. Carter is an interesting character. As a bad boy/rebel type is rare to see them try so hard to be good in order to get the girl. I found him cute and sexy despite the bad boy rap he has.

Good at Being Bad is a fun romance about balance. It really illustrates how we all have good and bad pieces and that the mix of both can be a lot of fun in the right circumstances. A wonderfully hot summer story that is sure to leave you feeling the need for a little air conditioning, Good at Being Bad is a must read if you like men-in-uniform stories that will make your skin tingle.
