Naked Treats by Pepper Anthony

Naked Treats by Pepper Anthony is a short little story with a whole lot of spice. Out of work chef Rose is determined to make enough money to help get her little brother out of jail, even if she has to cook for men and even woman in the nude. What Rose doesn't count on though is meeting a man who makes her want to change her "hands off the chef" policy.

How does a newly graduated culinary student distinguish herself in a city full of experienced personal chefs? Rose Phelps cooks for her private clients in the nude. Her favorite client is sexy and successful Zack Cranston, a confirmed bachelor. The more he’s around Rose, the harder it is for Zack to resist her naked charms. Still, he figures all he needs is one night between the sheets with her and he’ll be over it.
Up till now, Rose has ignored his teasing advances; she’s dead set on keeping things all business between them. Then unexpected circumstances cause their emotional and personal boundaries to crumble. Will one night of smoking hot sex lead Zack and Rose to heartbreak and pain, or the possibility of a whole new future together?

Every other Sunday morning for six months, Rose has been coming over to Zack Cranston's apartment to cook him a gourmet breakfast in the nude. Rose has no inhibitions when it comes to cooking in the nude in front of most men, but being around Zack stirs something inside of her she didn't realize she'd been longing for. She realizes that she may want to know Zack as something other then a business client, and its going to take a whole lot of will power to resist this sexy man.

Zack is a self proclaimed bachelor for life. He has seen first hand that relationships in his family don't work. When Zack hired Rose to cook for him, he wasn't counting on needing her the way he does. Zack believes all he needs to do is sleep with her one time to get her out of his system. Unfortunantly, doing so only increases his desires for her and he begins feeling things for Rose he never imagined he could feel.

Rose is a woman who works hard to get what she wants. She is determined and strong-willed in every aspect and puts all of her own needs on the side to help others around her. She's definitely a woman who you can admire. Zack on the other hand is a very successful man. He lacks for nothing, except maybe love. He is determined to get what he wants, making him seem slightly spoiled. I enjoyed Zacks alpha personality, but felt his back story was lacking quite a bit.

Naked Treats contained some very steamy scenes between Rose and Zack. I did enjoy the banter that these two characters shared but overall I felt that Naked Treats was way to rushed for my taste. If you enjoy quick reads with some serious heat between the the main characters then Naked Treats is for you. Although it is not on my favorite's pile, doesn't mean I didn't enjoy it though.
